Hakkinen heads DTM stars at Tower Bridge.

Former F1 stars, Mika Hakkinen, Jean Alesi and Heinz-Harald Frentzen were in London on Thursday, along with the 2004 DTM champion Mattias Ekstrom, ahead of the DTM's return to the UK at Brands Hatch this coming weekend.

The 'photo-call' held near St Katharine's way, took place with London's famous Tower Bridge as the backdrop.

Crash.net Radio was there and managed to grab a few words with all four of the drivers', ahead of the fourth round in the championship, which is currently led by seven times Le Mans winner, Tom Kristensen. You can listen/read what they had to say by clicking on the relevant links at www.crash.net.

The event at the Kent circuit meanwhile marks the first time the DTM has visited the UK since 2003, when the 'tin-tops' racers then headed to Donington Park.

In addition to the 'stars' already mentioned, Jamie Green will lead the way for Britain at Brands, he is currently joint fourth in the drivers' championship, while Susie Foster will also be eager to shine in front of her home crowd.

Race-day tickets, which are still available, will cost £30 per adult on the gate. Children aged 12 and under go free. Further information is available at www.brandshatch.co.uk/dtm
