Paffett `thrilled` to see DTM back in UK.

Reigning champion Gary Paffett has signalled his delight at the DTM returning to British shores for the first time since 2003 on the eve of the fourth round of the series.

Paffett, who now works as a McLaren-Mercedes test driver, claims he campaigned for the championship to return to the United Kingdom on the back of successes for himself and compatriot Jamie Green and was pleased to see it come to Brands Hatch.

"I'm thrilled the DTM is here at Brands this weekend, it's something I pushed for when I was competing in the series, so it's great to see it happen and I'm really looking forward to doing some promotional work with the team over the weekend."
