Senna finally inks Campos deal?

Bruno Senna is reported to have inked a deal with Campos for the 2010 F1 season
Reports have suggested that Bruno Senna has inked a deal which would see him join the F1 grid for the 2010 season.

According to reports from the Associated Press, the Brazilian nephew of the late Ayrton Senna has agreed a deal which would see him join the new Campos team to make his debut in the sport next season.

The report states that a Brazilian official involved in the negotiations has revealed that negotiations were completed with the Spanish team last weekend, which would make Senna the first driver to officially sign up with one of the four new teams for 2010.

Senna had revealed during the Brazilian GP weekend that Campos were one of a number of teams he was talking to for next season, with the debutants being one of his best options to make the step into F1 – having previously been linked with Honda before the Japanese marque elected to leave the sport at the end of 2009.

Experienced McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa has also been widely linked to a Campos race seat.

Campos' move to join the Formula One Teams' Association also appears to have now been confirmed after the Campos Meta logo was added to the official FOTA website.

At the moment, the team is the only one of the four newcomers to be represented on the site.
