Red Bull confirms launch date

Red Bull Racing has announced that it will 'launch' its 2008 challenger in mid-January.

The RB4 will be officially unveiled at an open test at Jerez on Wednesday, January 16.

The details were confirmed in a video release published on YouTube.

The video ends with the tag line: "RBR is working night and day to bring you the RB4."

Red Bull Racing is the sixth team to set a date to unveil its new car. Currently the launch schedule for F1 is shaping up as follows:

Ferrari - January 6 (Fiorano);
Toyota - January 10 (Cologne);
BMW Sauber - January 14 (Munich);
Red Bull Racing - January 16 (Jerez);
Honda - January 29 (Brackley);
Renault - January 31 (Paris).
