Witness F1 history in the making

A chapter in the history of Silverstone circuit will be closed on the 21 June 2009 when the Northamptonshire venue plays host to Formula One for the final time, for the next ten years at least.

The 2009 British Grand Prix will mark the 45th time that F1 will have raced at the self-proclaimed Home of British Motorsport, with the first event having taking place back in 1948 – two years before the venue played host to the race that would kick-start the official World Championship.

Since then, famous names including Clark, Stewart, Prost, Senna and Schumacher have taken victory in the race with the class of 2009 looking to add their name to the list of drivers who have stood on the top step of the podium at Silverstone.

A bumper crowd is set to fill the grandstands for the race with the vast majority hoping that a British driver will take victory for the second season in succession.

Thanks to leading motor racing travel experts Page & Moy, you could win the chance to be amongst those in the grandstands watching all the action. Along with a friend, you can win a three-day pass worth £500 to take your place in the Luffield Grandstand for practice, qualifying and the race itself.
