His driver just won his first championship with a fraction of luck and he is already comparing him to the most successful driver of all time and he has the tick skin to say how modest his driver is, all this after his driver very nearly ended a walking headless chicken in need of psychiatric help this surpasses all his ex boss ever said

I sure hope all this senseless Hype doesn't go to Hamy's Head like it did with Button!

The key thing about Lewis is that he's still very young and he hasn't reached the peak of his powers as a racing driver. That must be very worrying for his competitors. And apparently one crash poster.

I hope that all this senseless hype doesn't end to him ending like the last one before him

99% of you already know how supportive I am of Lewis and what I'm about to say, but I'll say it anyway!

I truly believe Hamilton has the potential to be as good as or better than Michael Schumacher. He's been in F1 for 2 years and has come 2nd and won the WDC,he has taken numerous poles, 9 (Id argue 10) wins,a few fastest laps,and has self-confidence.
Personally, I don't think he is cocky, just, like all successful sportsman need, he has self-belief. If he had let all his critics get to him, there's no way he'd be World Champion at the moment.
And, as has already been said, Lewis is young, about to begin his 3rd F1 season, he's definatly not at his peak, thats scary!

That is all very well and yes Hamilton is a very good driver!
Will he be just as good if Vettel Joined Ferrari?...
Or Renault up their game and Alonso has a good drive?
It is too early to say that Lewis could surpass Micheal Schumacher's record, Despite that fact Lewis is a talented driver!
Give it many years and let see what does happen!

LH is great driver no doubt about it but i dont think he'll get anywhere near MS because he's in a Mclaren. Now if he signs for Ferrari it could happen cause they always build a podium car. They always build them - every year without fail for more than 10 years. If LH goes to Ferrari, they can build him the car and then we'll see
