Don't agree with Anderson's view.

Even if Hamilton was getting preferential treatment, if Kovi was as good he should have been getting consistent 2nd and 3rd finishes and been a lot closer to Hamilton in the championship. As it is Hamilton scored nearly twice as many points as Kovi.

Towards the ends of the season, unlike Raikkonen, Kovi was rarely quick enough to support Hamilton.

fairly or unfairly, Heiki was kept on his back foot from the beginning by qualifying strategy and fuel load. we will never see what he can do as long as he runs as teh 2nd driver to Lewis. he's in much the same position as Rubens was with Michael, and, given the support he needs, will be just ss productive if and when Lewis slips up. the guy wouldn't be where he is were he not a hugely talented driver. perhaps his nex ride will see him as the primary driver, otherwise things will remain much the same for the lad. i would lopve to see him rattle Hamilton's cage a few times just to see how Lewis responds to the competition from within the team.

Heikki was disadvantaged in qualifying last year so was unable to convert races into wins. He did outperform Lewis in qualifying in Silverstone but Lewis obliterated him in the race. On the whole I would say Lewis is the better driver.

I'm not comparing Lewis to Senna, but the current situation reminds me of Senna and Berger. Berger could be as quick as Senna now and again but lacked something and was resigned to being the chirpy number 2.

look at the very beggining of last year, Kovalainen looked just as fast, if not faster than Hamilton, and it showed - Hamilton made some really big mistakes early in the season, pressure maybe? But after Heikki's massive crash in Spain he dramatically dropped his game, and when it was clear he was not longer a threat to Lewis, his performances really picked up. But add that to the fact that he was number 2 last year and was disadvantaged by Mclaren who wanted their golden boy to win, then its no wonder Heikki couldn't touch Lewis. If Heikki is in the right state of mind and they get equal treatment, I think Heikki would get the better of Lewis

@ FooAtrari - Your right. LH is faster. If HK could match LH then he would have had a lot more podiums. In qualifying he was close to LH but on race day he tended to fade. Still new car for both this year so lets see how they go!

Last year was a difficult one for Heikki. First year at a team, "wonder kid" in the other side, needing a lot of points at your second year in F1. Heikke had a good race at Siverstone (forget Hamilton) but the need to prove to his team that is good, make pressure higher, and he make a spin. He must relax, and make is race, his place is deserved.
