Let's face it, all top sportsmen are or have been well overpaid for a very long time. Alonso & Button may have set a trend and maybe we will see more realistic salaries being handed out to top footballers, F1 drivers etc.

I agree, ALL top sportsmen have been overpaid. There are a lot of overpaid Formula 1 drivers on the grid.
...but actually there are more reasons to reduce Jenson's salary as Fernando's

Overpaid? I think not! These Sportsmen spend Their entire Lives getting there. It's a commitment few People could make. Billions of Dollars are generated because of Them. Bankers are overpaid!
