Forget McLaren. How about fining the stewards in Oz for not listening to the radio transmissions in the first place. They had access to them LIVE!(!) during the race, and had recordings of them to listen to. So WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY USE THEM in their first investigation? A bunch of 5 year olds could have got that right.

Smells of Spanky Max picking & choosing his 'friends' as stewards *again*. Why doesn't the sad, pathetic man grow up.

Heard a rumour this morning outside FIA HQ in Paris whilst I was pretending to tie my shoelace. Moseley and Briatorie wandered past and i overheard something pretty sensational. If McLaren are kicked out, Lewis will join Alonso at Renault for the rest of the season as a replacement for the underperforming Nelson Piquet Jr. One of my sources said Anthony Hamilton and Nelson Sr were spotted sharing a table at one of the restaurants in downtown Kuala Lumpur on Sunday night - wheels in motion?

If it happens, it will be spectacular.....

What surprises me is that they continued to give false statements on April the 2nd.

Sad to say, and having had the great pleasure of doing many seasons in F1 in the long distant past and also having worked for Mr Dennis at one GP and Mr Senna ( Something I will never forget), something is very wrong here. Mr Dennis, although not easy to work with, was always straight forward, open and honest as was Mr Ecclestone. A handshake was all life needed. Difficult and hard people? Of course, but you always knew where you stood. What has gone wrong? I wish I knew but somewhere the "sport" has become involved with things thay they are not capable of dealing with. You are killing your very business. Grow up. Greed, ego and ambition are your downfall. Life guys is too short.

I've been a fan of McLaren since the 80's and even I think they are screwed, and rightly so... If they had an oppertunity to put this right and still continued to lie then more people are involved than just Ryan.

Why are Vodafone still sponsoring them, I'd have been out of there like a shot.

McLaren are well in the sh*t but if they can show that 'The Team' weren't aware of the what went on at the Stewards meeting then are they more culpable than Ferrari not knowing that info was being passed to McLaren by one of their employees?
The whole episode is SO STUPID, what the hell was Dave on???

I used to be a mcclarren fan but looking at the FIA's reasons they are completly justified to punish mcclarren. Listening to the facts rather than mcclaren's spin on the truth we can see how bad their actions have been.

It's a shame this has to happen but cheating should not be allowed to take place. If only mcclarren would stop their dishonest ways they could stay out of the courtrooms and concentrate on racing on the track.

The really sad thing about this is that if McLaren are kicked out a lot of hard working honest people (McLaren employees) are likely to suffer bu losing their jobs.
