We all know that this will NEVER happen. Teams that threaten to leave F1 will be pacified in one way or another. F1 will still be F1 next year, and that will include Ferrari, Toyota, Red Bull, et al.

Bernie and Max must be wetting themselves with delight at these responses. Max, who knows nothing about running F1 teams, plucks a figure out of the air and imposes it on the teams with no consultation and claims he's doing it for the good of the motor industry. Some teams like Ferrari, Toyota and Red Bull object to this totalitarian rule making but everyone starts picking on them and telling them to go if they don't like it. Meanwhile, everyone ignores the fact that one of the main reasons F1 is so expensive to enter is because of the amount of money that Bernie bleeds out of the sport.

That's a fair point Alan D.
Do you concede that F1 has to be realistic and reduce costs somehow? Maybe the proposed regulations are wrong, I'm not sure I agree with the two tier system, but F1 has to be realistic and not expect the teams to keep spending infinite amounts of money to be competitive.

I agree totally with Ferrari and Red Bull. One set of regs and tech to the max inside them. That is the spirit of F1 and has been for 60 years. The FIA is turning F1 into nothing better than Indy Car and Indy Car is boring as hell.

Should Ferrari leave it will create a big gap that may not be replaced...

I hope Ferrari go,,im sick of their preferential treatment. When Lotus left F1,,that team was the most successful and F1 continued without them. So please kick out Ferrari,,ive had enough of that team.If Ferrari had won 4 out of 5 races this year,,then they wouldnt be moaning like a bunch of girls.Bernie and Max,,show some balls and kick out Ferrari

The FIA have completely ignored everything that FOTA has proposed from the points structure to the budget cap to be rolled in over several seasons. Now Renault is standing with the other teams with their own quit threat. This is no longer just about losing Ferrari. If the top teams and drivers are replaced with new entrants next year the series will lose its roots and will no longer have its ties to its history.

Max and his BS again-Who works for who?? It will be the best thing if their is a break away from Formula 1-or should i say from Max and Bernie. Same great sport it 'was' up to a few years ago-just less politics and more racing. This is not Nascar or Champcar (without offending anyone) This is the pinnacle of all open wheel racing. And to just sit back and watch it go to the dogs? Good stance from Ferrari, Red bull and Toyota. Have my FULL support!!

Would any other team threatening to leave F1 create so many comments. I think not. Ferrari have been in F1 since the beginning and as I have said before, there are more Ferrari fans at race meetings around the world than any others, even at Silverstone. Whether people like them or not, they create this kind of response. F1 without Ferrari, I hope I never see the day that happens.

It is so strange to see for once so many "so called fans" of F1 wishing to join FIA to destroy the sport. It is unbelievable but every **** tom and harry now are experts in how an F1 team should be run and how much should be spent to do so. There is also that piercarlogassolini who is trying desperately to shade his Italian identity ... so pathetic just reading his posts is reading comic books. Perhaps he should use his business model to try and see what really Ferrari is complaining about. And this goes also for all those ill informed "so called fans" of F1.

Mob rules, he is trying to see what FERRARI are complaining about mostly during working hours so he cannot be concentrated on the subject, that's why he sounds like a comic book,he sounds so desperate about his Italian identity that he is willing to side with the devil himselve, and he likes people driving BMW THE MOST.
