"We will not enter the championship with these rules and with this governance."

Basically, while Max dictates to them, the teams won't sign. They want a voice and the dictatorship ended, and any rule change has to be ok'd by FOTA from now on. If the FIA doesn't agree, its a mass walkout.

"We want Formula 1 we don't want something different."

They'll stay, but only if they get the above.

"Bernie suggesting that legal action will be taken should the legendary Italian marque leave before that term is up."

That would be a hell of a court battle. And frankly one Bernie won't win as if the teams all go, he hasn't anything to promote at all. He will have to go where FOTA goes and drop the FIA.

All ten teams will walk if Mosley's bull crap is pushed through. Now it's back on Max's.

I wouldn't be so sure about that rob01. Talk is cheap but if it came to the crunch and teams had to make the decision to stay or leave, baring in mind the financial and legal consequences of pulling out of F1, I would bet my house not all 10 would make the decision to leave.

Anyway, as a F1 fan lets hope that it never gets to that point and some compromise will be agreed.

Mad Max has previously suggested that he doesnt believe that there is a viable alternative to 'his' budget cap. So the teams saying look, we have an alternative.
Will Max be enough of a man to say 'Ok, I was wrong' !

blzbub - in a perfect world we'd have Max admit he's wrong but as we all know it aint perfect and hell would freeze over before that arrogant swine ventures anywhere near backing down.

The teams need to take drastic action to get rid of MM. He has done more damage to F1 in the past few months than any good he's done in the entire time he's been involved in motorsport. The teams need to get a motion of no confidence on the go at the very least and get the guy chucked out. He's turned into a twisted, pathetic little dictator and has to go

A motion of no confidence plus a declaration that the teams are not willng to work with him is a possibility
