Well done Seb ! Hope it bodes for the best.

I don't entirely agree with the article, Bourdais has certainly been outpaced in qualification by the young and talented Buemi yet he's had relatively good race pace and consistency but in the shadows...

Buemi is a sprinter, SeaBass is rather an endurance runner.

Don't read me wrong, his season is not satisfying this far but I think he's also been mistreated by the media and has been heavily and unfairly criticized even in his home country where he unfortunately enjoys little support...

Ironically, Montagny, his team mate at Peugeot but former rival when Renault chose their test driver is one trhe few to have had kind words for Bourdais.

I was one of the people that was championing Bourdais for a F1 drive last year. His multi Champ Car Championships are nothing to discredit - Champ car enjoys better parity than F1 and the better driver has more chance of making an influence. However I do believe that Bourdais had spent far too long there and made his entry into F1 too late. He is struggling to come to terms with F1 racing and I fear it will be too late by the time he does.
I think you'll see Bourdais signing a top line Champ Car drive in the next six months for the 2010 season.
- At least he got his shot at F1 - many don't even get the opportunity.
