That would be nice for him. What would then be nice (for me) is if it had the exact opposite effect as the Brawn buy-out and his cars spent their lives at the back of the grid. And then his yacht sinks. And he finds he forgot to insure it. No I'm not bitter, just got an evil sense of humour. Oh, and QPR get double-relegated. I could go on.

And should we expect Ross Brawn to agree to let the Briatore Team take the share of the TV rights money that was actually earned by Renault? Or could Ross think long and hard and decide that tit for tat makes more sense.

That would actually be a good move by Renault which let them have a foot in F1 and then they'll be back at will when things get better for the company of for the sport.

It's a path that other manufacturers may follow in case there's no deal on budget cap topic of for sheer financial reasons.
