Be good to see some new blood in the pit lane next year, just hope mm @ be don't spring any more nasty surprises after the entries have been accepted, it'd be a shame for all this toys out of the pram episode to be allowed to rumble on and take the focus off the racing any longer

Perhaps the name should be changed to F1plus2 since it will be nearer to F3 than the F1 we have at the moment.

I've just been to the local chippy and walked past Brian Henton's house, the Yale lock on his shed is undone, I reckon he's dusting off his old March for an assault on the 2010 championship :D

So...they entered under the £40mil cap unrestricted rules...what happens when the FIA bins that idea due to the mass walkout of the current teams, or the raise to £100mil cap? The little new entries have been brought in under false pretences. Sounds like something severely messy is going to result in whatever happens with FOTA and Mad Maxs back tracking.

Apologies, for those who dont know what the **** I'm on about: The 'Belgrano' or 'General Belgrano' was the nickname of the Toleman TG181/181C which lumbered round at the back of the F1 field in 1981 and 1982, so called because, like the Argentinian battleship of the same name, it was 'sunk without trace' every weekend (I'm not condoning the sinking, just telling the story). It's two claims to fame were briefly running 2nd at the 1982 British GP (how, at 200lbs overweight and with a clockwork engine I'll never know) and providing an iconic post-crash photo at the 1981 event (driver: B Henton)
