Let's hope that Anthony Davidson gets a chance!

I'll second that - with the slight reservation that I would really miss his excellent 5Live commentary.

Still - plenty of time in the future for that.

Toyota is quitting, so it's 13 teams on the grid for next year.

Have the 2010 regs been finalised already? If not, and they are still subject to change, all these entries may be a little premature.

Although having them puts pressure or allows MM to stick to his guns. I wonder how much pressure he put on them to enter.

Ford still have a stake in Aston Martin. Ford jumped ship when results werent good in the past, will they hang around much longer this time?

I have always been a huge admirer of David Richards' Prodrive concern, and am eagerly anticipating a strong challenge from his team in the forthcoming 2010 FIA F1 World Championship. One hopes that a team with individuals of that engineering calibre can attract good driver talent in order to reach the undoubted potential within them.

My vote would be for a 'dream team' of the current WDC, Lewis Hamilton and the champion elect Jenson Button. Such a pairing combined with the expertise found inside of Prodrive would surely even give Ross Brawn's fantastic Brawn GP a considerable challenge.

Thoughts?

Not a majority shareholding though so what they think doesn't matter.

Of all the new entries, Prodrive posed the biggest threat. Prodrive & Aston Martin are 2 names behind one of the most desired super car in the world.

All FOTA teams have now submitted an entry for the 2010 season. Did you really think this would have been any different?

F1, what a joke.

Yes it's become a bit of a joke!!

Oh and as for what DR can do, I wouldn't hold my breath! He failed to resurect one of the most iconic rally brands to the top step in recent years...

Must be a big sigh of releif from the Prodrive race team.. No much work after Lemans, I feel a lot of them would have been on the same dirty chopping block as I and 180 others faced with demise of SWRT!!
