Lets hope they gloss over the shamless Hamilton era,all the questionable acts he perpetrated on F1 will make people ask why this degenerate was allowed in at all.

F1 » Ecclestone to take F1 to Hollywood with big screen movie?

The story of F1 from its official beginnings back in 1950 all the way through to the present day could be made into a Hollywood movie if commercial rights chief Bernie Ecclestone has his way.

As usual, Bernie is working hard to profit from the blood, sweat & tears of others. I suppose he's going to pocket all the cash as well.

The Marx Brothers would have been good in this. How about Groucho to play Bernie? :)

I would watch a film about the drama 'behind the scenes' - it would rival Rome, The Borgias, Dynasty or Dallas for plotting and treachery.

But somehow, car racing just does't work on the silver screen. How many turkeys have their been?

Honestly does this old man ever learn?

F1 fans don't want to see silly movies they just want to see great racing. Who agrees with me when I say Ecclestone is more of a hinderence to F1 than anyone else. Start a petition and get him fired I say, no one wants to listen to his s**t day in day out.

Perhaps they were inspired by Sacha Baron Cohen's gritty portayal of F1 legend Jean Girard in the critically acclaimed "Talladega Nights?"

I think an appropriate title to the film, given present circumstances, would be "Dude, Where are my Cars?" but apparently a version close to that has already been used.
