Find the best engineer (like Ross Brawn) - not the best driver! Also this was a boring race with no character at all whatsoever. What a switch off. :?

I agree can't get any more boring.
Good job Bernies point system is going to be used next year ! That will make it just so exciting! Might as well forget this year .
Lets hope we get a new series from FOTA.

Button and Barrichello are a fraude. Even Jeremy Clarkson is better pilot then Button. If it is this F1 that FOTA wants, close F1 and same type of another formula and give the money that they spent with Motor Homes, KERS and other marketing things, to who is in real financial crises. By the way, Vettel, it's not necessary to be so fast, because if you continue with this speed will have the same destiny of Hamilton and Raikkonen. Nakajima will be the 2010 world champion!!!!

lol @ the previous comment. Of course it's the car. F1 is a 'good car' centric sport. If you've got a good car then you'll win. All drivers are as good as each other in most respects but the car plays a huge part in winning. Sure Button still has to win the race, but it's probably 70-80% the car, 20-30% the driver.

good win jenson but dull race, only one change for the lead. had it have been bike racing vettel would have flown past button and cleared off. the presenters talk about other drivers gaining on each other but when it comes to passing with out someone making a mistake its almost impossible. look at bike races held at this circuit with do or die passes taken at the end of the fast straight AWESOME!

Awesome win by Button.

However the crap aerodynamics rules for F1 ruined that race. The areo of an F1 car is very impressive, but it makes for dull racing.

While the cars can get a little closer this year, unless you are 1.5 - 2 seconds a lap a faster you have no chance of passing without a banzai dive where you have a 50/50 chance of making it out the other side.

That was not a battle between Button and Vettel, more like between Brawn and Newey.

It's not the drivers or designers fault, it's the rules. FOTA and FIA need to stop arguing and working together. Cutting costs is a great idea, but the rules need thought out, again, with careful consideration this time.

unfortunately FooAtari no matter what rules you put in place the designers, being the clever people they are, will always find a way to claw back the losses in down-force caused by the revised regulations. This year should have seen a 40% reduction in down-force but in fact it's more like 25% and you'll always have the problem of a car following in the dirty air of the car in front where the reduction in down-force makes it impossible to pass.

The only solution is to get rid of all the wings and make a formula where mechanical grip takes precedence over aero efficiency but I don't think the FIA have the balls to make the necessary changes.
