Good-bye Bernie, Good-bye Max. I believe FOTA wil give us something special to watch, and I particularly don't mind if they splash money on better machinery. It would be good to see 900 plus HP cars again. I think FOTA will do something special for the new era of F1, though it may take a few years.I'm sure this site will hear from all the Ferrari haters but please try and remember the teams are all in this together. I believe Bernie is bitch slapping Max around in a motor home at the moment. It was only a matter of time before everything caught up with them. Hmmm...greed and dictatorship, deffinately a losing combo...the Lawman :) :)

Lots of opinions most from people who haven't got a clue,
F1 has become a joke world wide, and that is down to the misguided fools that run the FIM.
Sign up and we will tell you the rules latter, thats a bit like taking out a mortgage on a house and not having a clue as to what your repayments will be, yeh we will sort it out latter.
Rules changing at a wim of Max and co.
Good look to FOTA, top teams top cars and drivers with stability the future looks good for once.

FOTA is a farce.. without a constitution or any moral authority and its time poeople woke up to that fact.

They claim (obliquely) in a press release to have "temporarily suspended Williams and Force India" yet there only self appropriated authority says "It has the powers to accept the admission of new Members or to decide their expulsion...." no mention of temporary suspension here.

FOTA are a prancing horse without any control mechanisms, transparent governance, constitution in law or moral authority made up of a bunch of over inflated egos not helping a very difficult situation.

JJW:

"Why can't Williams and Force India race in what ever category they want to"

Because they have signed up to the FIA F1 series (old F1) for the next three years.

They could race in the new F1 series after that, would the be welcome...come to your own conclusions on that one.

JJW, Williams and Force India cannot race in whatever category they want because MAx has them over a barrel. That is nothing to do with FOTA. If you'd listed to the interviews on the day Williams were suspended you would have heard they themselves saying they were only suspended, not excluded. FOTA, as an organisation, has a perfect right to make its own rules. Its statement that it has the right to decide who is a member means just that. It means no-one else has the right to tell them who can and cannot be a member. And right now, Williams and Force India are members.

It has been revealed that JJW is.....Max Mosely!
Now seriously JJW you don't understand whats going on either because you are too stubborn or too dumb. FI and Williams did not aligned with FOTA, they are suspended. I believe FOTA was a bit busy these time to actually go through the process of conciliation or kicking these two teams out. Which they are in all their right because they didn't aligned with FOTA.

MM and BE had been digging the grave for F1 for a long long long time. This was due to happen sooner or later, it was this or wait till MM or BE die of natural causes. Which could take a long time because we know blood-sucking vampires have surprisingly long lifetimes

Just have this feeling this is gamemanship from FOTA and that they will all reach a good old fashioned compromise for 2010 - I mean a breakaway series would not presumably be able to race at existing F1 circuits as they would have a contract with Bernie - so no Monocco next year. Splits are not good - look at the damage the CART/IRL series did in the US open-series......

Great news! Good on FOTA! Can we have the 3.5l V12s back please (rev limited if you like) in a wide chassis, with big slick tyres for lots of lovely mechanical grip :) :) :) :)

Mr Whippy and Little Bernie Ecclescake were never interested in F1 "motorsport", they were only interested in the power/money aspect, like our present "government" the are completely out of touch with the people, it is arrogance personified and they have ignored the feelings of true F1 motorsport fans for too long now, Good riddance to them ,and the future is for sure uncertain, but at least we have a new start. Maybe the population of this country should break away from our present "government" in the same manner, because they wont go without being dragged, kicking and screaming from their rotten corrupt posts.
