OK, lets look at everything Max has said since this conflict began. The truth is he is not interested in yielding, not a bit. He is bending under pressure, true. But he is not cracking. As soon as he feels stronger he'll turn around and carry on with his authoritarian leadership.
The bottom line is he cannot be trusted. FOTA will do a grave mistake if they dignify him with negotiations, leave alone any kind if agreements.

Er Crash.net.... Above your comment or reply box, why have you asked people to please do not post any personal abuse or attacks? I have seen plenty of personal abuse and attacks on Max Mosley, on your very own website. I just find it amusing.......

Dale, thank you for that. A Scottish lady!? Just'cos he occasionally wears a tartan skirt, is called Jackie, has a high pitched voice and likes tossing cabers does not have any female connotation whatsoever. It has just occured to me that Scotland is quite effeminate. I'm scared to go out me front door now! :?

Again I wanted to stay away from this garbage--but guess what?
Andrewn-- J Stewart was my hero in the US and he even covered Nascar races on TV. He worked like crazy to make racing safer and won 3 titles in the process. He is still active and appears healthy as well. Quit playing with these fools or perhaps you should stay in your house and play computer all day. I have to work-bye

No more Max! No more Bernie! One can only hope.

The tail has been wagging the dog far too long.

The real issue has been about how much revenue the F1 teams were to receive from Bernie and Max. With a cap, Bernie would then cut the amount the teams received. Since they then would have a $40 million budget rather than $400 million. More for Bernie, more for Max. I'm certain this has crossed the minds of the team owners. The big budgets are more of a problem for Max and Bernie than the teams.

If I were Frank and/or Vijay, I'd get on my knees, with a different participant this time.

As for the proposed new teams. Pure pipe dreams for the most part.

andrewm, John Young Stewart raced in a era which required a serious set of balls. Far too many drivers died due to a lack of or misguided attempts at safety. You needed a large pair to strap an F1 car to your ass and drive down a tree-lined straight into an ARMCO-lined turn. JYS was one of the best, most precise drivers I've ever seen and if he wants to wear a skirt that's ok with me.

btw, I saw the movie "Braveheart" and Wm. Wallace didn't wear anything under his kilt. How do you guys keep from freezing your nuts off in the winter?
