Ross Brawn would inevitably have a lot of influence on a FOTA breakaway series then the knives would come out when he would inevidably dominate it.

Why do people think that the team owners would run the series. This would be given to a management company similar to the FIA BUT without Max and with more input from the teams.... it won't be the teams sitting round a table arguing.

IF FOTA replaced FIA with a management company nothing would change - FOTA would still want to run the show.

If FOTA left FIA, FIA's biggest problem would go.

FIA will still provide the stewards and be the referee (they are obliged to do it if asked under EU law).

But the rules will be written and decided by FOTA. They want rules stability so we can guess they will be identical in 2010 minus KERS.
