Sorry Jenson the party's over. You need to face the fact that your Championship points were only accumulated because the Brawn was by far and away the fastest car.Now that other teams have got their diffuser-act together driver ability is all important and you're being flogged by those with superior talent.Learn to settle for 6th place, from now on that's about as good as it'll get.

F1 » Button: Red Bull advantage not as big as it looked

Jenson Button may have seen his F1 title lead slashed by Red Bull rival Sebastian Vettel at Silverstone - but he is confident of fighting back on the German's home turf at the Nurburgring.

It would appear that jenson has turned into the a-typical english driver, what a boring whinger, there is no charisma, style and professionalism even when he is driving the fastest car he will ever get. Heaven help us when he gets a slow car next year. Lets all pray that vettel gets the championship that he so richly deserves. :)

Where is he moaning, i heard this interview on the tv on Sunday and he was just stating the facts as they are. He admitted his part in it by stating he should have done better in qualifying and then states it's hard to pass at Silverstone which it is.
Even Red Bull felt that the additions to the car suited Silverstone with it's fast corners and although they felt there was a big improvement overall they wanted to wait and see when they got to the next track to see how they were going to go.
A-typical English driver? Just what is that sposed to mean? We've had our fair share of English and British champions for that matter...so maybe he'll be A-typical in that regard at the end of the year

I agree with the post above - he isn't whingeing.

Incidentally, "atypical" means "not typical".

Bad result at Silverstone caused Button wasm facing several bad things, that were temperature, miscommunication during last lap of qualification and trapped behind Trulli at start. Statistically after bad thing will come good thing. So big chance for Button to revenge at Nurburgring.

He is blaming the weather a lot, but surely everyone can see Red Bull has made a huge leap forwards. I am hoping for a fight between Brawn and Red Bull for the remainder of the season, I reckon they're pretty close right about now.
