This could not have ended on a worse note.

This idiotic soap opera, and the results thereof, will have no impact on either the fans or the insistence on sterile McTilke tracks. Any hope of cheaper tickets, or anything else that makes F1 more accesible, is gone.

We, as fans, lost here.

Just looked at the entry list on autosport. 3 teams do not specify what engine they'll be using, Brawn, RBR and STR.

2Pac:

Yeah, that's not clear. You could say they've beaten Max but the problem of FOM, the high cost of staging these events, the show for the fans etc hasn't been addressed by FOTA or the FIA, FOTA said the would in the new championship but never gave details.

Unless they have negotiated a different rights package with FOM, better say in where F1 events are staged then not a lot has really changed.

Maybe because they actually have to try and take some effort to be sure that they are reporting facts, rather than specualtion and BS ?

the WMSC press release for the meeting today is now on the FIA site (for those that like to read from source!)

The only downside to all this is we'll have to hear Eddie Jordan talk about Bernie and his magic wand again

Well, the first poker hand is over, Max folded (if this story is true). On to the next hand.

That's a crock, it's generally speculation that they post.

Autosport wouldn't run with a story unless they were sure it's genuine.

calvin. good point. it is interesting that be was scared of losing his golden cow, all because of his once partner, max. now, max was in an "unpaid" job, so it would not surprise me if he is being given a golden parachute to soften his landing, courtesy of bernie. i guess we'll never know.
blzbub, on other sites, it says that another person(name slips me at present) is to take over the running of fia with immediate effect. i presume that max therefore, will have no further "input". thank god or luca or fota etc(name of your choice)
