This could not have ended on a worse note.

This idiotic soap opera, and the results thereof, will have no impact on either the fans or the insistence on sterile McTilke tracks. Any hope of cheaper tickets, or anything else that makes F1 more accesible, is gone.

We, as fans, lost here.

Surprise Surprise ! Didn't I say in other threads on this site that there was no-way the organisers, sponsors, drivers, manufacturers etc.. etc.. would break the golden egg. This whole story appears nothing more than a publicity exercise to make this sport more exciting and to get peoples attention.

Max has been a great asset to Formula 1, he will be greatly missed. I know I'll have a hundred disagrees by all you News of the World reading bigots but I see the broader picture, and I don't care what you all think.

Max Mosley did alot of good for the FIA and other areas within Motoring. The FOTA has made a good person for the sport stand down.
The FOTA are acting like children, huffing and crying when they dont get there own way. Max just wanted to lower the costs so more teams could join and to secure the sport for the future...what is wrong with that?

That all leads very neatly into JEAN TODT being elected as FIA Pres in October. Remember you read it here first...........

I thought that the decisions made for F1 Championship until 2009 were with the approval of all the parts involved and not only by Max Mosley. The suposed errors will have to be addressed to all the people. If he wants to retire, ok, but he is not the problem.

Yep will be waiting for a proper offical statement for both sides, glad Max is going, he was trying to be too much like a dictator, and only thinking of what he wants, and not what is best for everyone.

As for Bernie..I have no problems with him.

Maybe now FOTA can suggest some of the circuits get it up to 20 a season would be great, Helsinki would be good and Portugal, but I think Portamo is jst a matter of time.

Teams have not got their own way and never will do while Bernie ecclestone is still part of the sport.
So Long Max you wont be missed by me.
Bernie, how much more money do you want to earn out of other peoples hard work before you retire ?

very upset... good that spanky is leaving, but I feel that the FIA is corrupt to the core. People like Alan Donnelly and all are still there. The dwarf is still there. The same games to divide the teams will keep going on..

Would have been so much better if there had been a breakaway and all the classic venues returned. As it is, we're back to the same old tired racing and expensive tickets.
