This could not have ended on a worse note.

This idiotic soap opera, and the results thereof, will have no impact on either the fans or the insistence on sterile McTilke tracks. Any hope of cheaper tickets, or anything else that makes F1 more accesible, is gone.

We, as fans, lost here.

No doubt Max and Bernie have given a lot to F1 over the years but imo F1 has become a dinosaur and both need to go ! We need younger guys with some new fresh ideas and make F1 more fan friendly instead of the old boys club we seem to have had for to many years

Good news and bad news.

Shame about the tracks- some of the tracks on the FOTA championship were much better than the test tube tracks we have now.

I have a funny hunch that, through it all, not much will have actually changed.

Anyway, F1 lives and there's no breakaway. I hate to say ''I told you so''.... :)

good and bad news! good that mad max is being removed. bad that fota races as projected will probably not happen, or maybe fota will have more of a say. now, i wonder what rules they have signed up to for next year. i look forward to hearing the FULL details of agreement.
by the way, i wonder what happened to make max climb down on all his rhetoric about refusing to go etc, etc.

"I think we should see the details of this agreement, i want to know how far FOTA have pushed the FIA.
ie. How big are the budget caps, because early 90's levels is very vague with no figure attached."

I don't believe I actually just read that, now you suddenly want a specific figure on a cap? what the hell happened to all your anti cap arguements? or is this just a case of a cap is fine as long as it's a FOTA imposed cap?
There is no cap, there will be no cap, there is going to be a targetted reduction in spending, and that's as close to a specific as you will ever get, and were ever going to get, out of FOTA.

One thing i do admitt that is good for the sport that Max has done, and that is the safety side of the sport!
If only the high safety standard was introduced alot earlier, then Ayrton Senna may still be with us!

@ 2pac

They do have a website of sorts, you can send emails to them.

The more i think of this the more it seems Ferrari went solo and sold out the rest.
What did they give Ferrari this time?
