Did we see this coming guys?

Stastistically, since Todt joined Ferrari, the highest penalities have been awarded against teams, other than Ferrari, yet only when Ferrari lose!

So now it's proposed an ex leader of Ferrari runs the FIA in F1. That is nuts!

Barge Boards - let off by FIA
Montoya beating Schumi - Ban oppostion tyres mid season!
Hamilton beats Kimi at Spa - take his point away citing a rule, the FIA create AFTER the race. Huh?

People can't behave like this, it's wrong.
We need someone impartial who has no history or financial interest with any team.

Someone NEW. :p

F1 » di Montezemolo: It was important F1 had 'no dictator'

Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has argued that all of FOTA's objectives have been achieved in the wake of F1's eleventh hour resolution - and that an ongoing 'dictatorship' has been successfully averted.

So he can dictate - the eleventh hour resolution achieved nothing.

Todt could be a good replacement, but would he not be too much on Ferrari's side like the FIA already was?

Katy Mitten in which planet are you residing? And may I ask where did you get those stats and facts. When Schumi started winning Mosley started changing rules to stop Ferrari from winning anything. Of course it did not work. Ferrari was unbeatable. Ask Brawn? As for Todt? Well yes he was Ferrari's boss but he is not anymore. In addition if you read the article you will find that the rules will be scrutinised by all teams and then accepted. So what is your worry? Besides promise he will do as good a job as any Briton.

I personally dont like the idea of Jean Todt replacing Mosley, its not that I dont like him I think he was brilliant when running Peugeot rally cars, ferrari F1, its just that he is too close to Ferrari I think the new man should have a back ground with more than one team, someone like Jackie Stewart or Alain Prost.
A complete wildcard would be Ari Vatanen, current member of the european parliament and vast experience within the world of Motorsport!!!!!

"Ecclestone said that he fed FOTA's cards to his dogs, Mosley said that he didn't know what FOTA was, but now it seems to me that both of them have something different to say."
Yep, also remember Ecclestone saying di Montezemolo should'nt get into a battle with Max, cause Max was to clever. Whos the clever boy now Bernie? You & Max enjoying a nice slice of humble pie???

"no dictator" !

don't forget bernie ! as long as money rule this sport, as long as iconic tracks like Spa are banned, as long as one man rules a sport for way too long this sport will be in danger
don't stay in the middle of the road and finish the job : exit Bernie Ecclestone
