Max, please, give up. Get out with what little dignity you have remaining ( if any ). Youve had your time and made your money. Go. Now and quietly, and leave the sport to recover some of its own dignity.

With Max, of course, it's all about appearances and perceptions, and Me, Me, Me, never what's best for the sport. But it's not him making this decision, it's "Oh, I'm being forced to do this." All the more reason for him to be replaced, but then what role does reason play in any of this?

This is not about the fans of F1 ,this is all about money.FOTA cares about you and me as much as the FIA does.Moseley had no intention of stepping down and FOTA probably had no real intention of forming a breakaway series. All you have to do is look at the champ car split (fiasco) to see the damage that would be caused.

I have followed F1 for over 30 years Max is saying he has got so much support to seek reelection.I think the time has finally come that he goes.A peaceful solution was found but 1 party had no intention of keeping their word or letting Fota who put up all the finances have any say at all.
It makes me very sorry ,this is not what sport is about this is pure greed for power .
I think F1 days are numbered with many fans if Max stays in power. In the last few years, the flexible rules the boring races and the prices both for merchandise and tickets have nearly killed the sport, and now we've got politics or one mad man and his big ego.

Look,

Are we all forgetting, Mosley should have walked for the sake of the sport when he got rumbled with the hookers..... whatever you view on that is.

He wouldn't go because he's a megalomaniac, he won't go till he's pushed hence all the kicking and screaming when he's been dragged out.

A throwback from an all together more unfortunate time in history.

Mosley is becoming so pathetic I'm starting to feel sorry for him. He is picking yet another fight he will not win.

This is his last gasp bid to wreck the deal and also his last desperate attempt to cling to power, but FI solid fans have nothing to worry about as FOTA have him under control, whatever comes out of it as long as the teams are/stay united they can only win anything that comes their way even if they have to pay a prize for it.

Proof again - not that it was needed - that he cannot be trusted. The sooner he goes the better

I don't agree with Max's actions or the way he constantly stokes the fire in the press, but you must admit that di Montezemolo did not help things by using the word "dictator" in a press statement *after* the agreement was made. By and large I agree with FOTA, but both sides could stand to improve their behavior.

@Scott Wilcox, I don't agree that Crash.net is sensitive about Mosley's ego, as you said. I have seen people ask that we refrain from ad hominem attacks (he has bad teeth), and stick to relevant opinions (he is a bad manager). To the extent that his after-hours activity undermines his ability to do his job, or disgraces the sport, criticism is appropriate and warranted.
