Max, please, give up. Get out with what little dignity you have remaining ( if any ). Youve had your time and made your money. Go. Now and quietly, and leave the sport to recover some of its own dignity.

If Max has gone against his agreement to stand down, when his term is up, then that must mean that the deal that the FOTA members signed to is invalid!
Go on FOTA just go and create a new rival series that will leave Bernie and Max kicking them selves!

This is becoming Disgusting and Farcical.

FOTA agreed to end this war with an assurance from MM to stand down after they sign a new deal to 2012?, & because CVC would have gone BANKRUPT! It would be interesting to see WHO IS in the pay of CVC, but its a private company.
Would CVC be reasonable if some of the teams were in financial difficulties - I think not.
All the talk of going to traditional circuits, exiting new ones and a better spectical for the fans by FOTA, RUBBISH.
I think most of us looked to closely at MM and not closely enough at BE who appears to me to be the tail that waggs the dog.

BE talk of history of F1, what about the countries and circuits now ditched, and more

@ andy.
That is a Very good comment you made there!
On the subject of going to traditional tracks mentioned by FOTA could not really happen nowa days in F1. (as it is only money that does the talking when it comes down to business with Bernies dealings and back handers!)
The only way it could happen is if FOTA go it alone in their own series!
Which i was hoping would happen!
It could still happen if Max carries on the way he is going at the moment and going against his word, just goes to show Max is a double crosser, and i couldn't trust Bernie as far as i could launch him! :)

andrewm - well, you were correct re the Mosley's tight turning radius. I don't think I've ever seen a quicker U-turn.

Although I'm not an S&M type, I hereby offer to participate in der Max's next session by paddling his ass until both of my arms wear out.

FOTA, you gutless pussies, get on with it. Create a series devoid of the Perv, the FIA, Greedy and his masters. It couldn't be any worse!

Merde!

PS Angry, raving letter to follow.

I have followed F-1 for 40 years and love it. I realize now that I enjoy the racing more than "F-1". Formula One has always been something special to me but I would prefer that the teams leave and form their own series. I don't care if it is called Formula One or not but I will watch it and support it. It is no longer about the racing and I want it to be about the racing again.

Sorry guys, but Im with Mosley on this one. Fota and Di Montezemolo is in the wrong this time. Mosley agreed to step down as part of the settlement agreement. He was not pushed out, like Fota press had said. And they have the nerve to name a replacement. Who do they think they are. They do not run the sport. They race in it. Full stop.!!

Mosley is ONLY to enforce the rules not MAKE them. Safety was to be FIA's concern. Max has been pushed whether he thinks so or not. And all the things being said about max, are things that have been said for a long time. And this whole FOTA thing is about PROPER governance. They have compromised with the two idiots for so long that Max is confused as what his role actually is by description. He is looking more pitiful by the moment. I hope he one day prints all the special deals he has made over the years to show some on this site that he is the snake Luca says he is. And they say Nascar is rigged. The two idiots having been rigging F1 for years. I hoped the diffuser was his last rigging.
