Max, please, give up. Get out with what little dignity you have remaining ( if any ). Youve had your time and made your money. Go. Now and quietly, and leave the sport to recover some of its own dignity.

Oh boy. He has some ego. Now I see why he was so relentless in pursuing Ron Dennis. He simply doesn't give up. He should go back to spanking his lady friends instead of race teams. At least they are consenting.

Racy was that a promise - bye for now? You can't spell and your comments make no sense. Go and play on a site where children can write what they want.

R Willams you worry about your own little world--I was not speaking to you anyway. Granted wine should be whine-same effect and sense does not enter this thread after the first few pages. Chill out or take a break or whatever. What is it 10 pm in Britian?-go to a bar/pub and chill.

To Max: Have you no sense of decency sir? At long last have you left no sense of decency?

Just go and go now.

I've had enough of this. I felt badly let down by the teams when I heard they'd backed down and wasn't at all suprised when I heard Max had decided to 'keep his options open'.... Believe I predicted this in a post on another board.
I've sent an E-Mail to FOTA at info@teamsassociation.org
expressing my opinion and suggest everybody else does to... a few thousand might help them re-think.

YEP.... Knew I had predicted this....

Max is starting to see sense...
Drop the threat of legal action... (Not much chance of winning that anyway)
Try to negotiate with the teams ... (no F1 without them)
And then when they have signed for another five years I have them where I want them...

I hope they don't talk to him.

I hope so XHannahX I don't think F1 can continue with Max in charge and I think FOTA must make a stand.
The argument is NOT only about the $40 mil budget cap, it's about the way the whole series is run and overseen and the way the 'rules' are interpreted differently for different teams (depending on who is said to have broken them)
As for creepy... not really, Max has worked this way for years, all promises until he gets what he wants.

Well come on everyone we all knew max would not give in that easily and if fota thought so then they have been really foolish. Time and time again max has demonstrated his tactics in the F1 arena and there is always a get out clause where he says they have not kept their word etc etc. This is old boys stuff for max he never keeps his word on anything he says he is going to do there has always been a twist in the tale as far as max is concerned whether it is his side of the interpretation of the agreement or the fota side.
It is now after all this extra outburst from mosley that i think he has really lost the plot and he should resign as president of the fia.

Bernie has been to quiet????

Relax folks, there won't be a breakaway. Basically the FIA needs F1 as its prestige series and the F1 teams need the kudos of competing under a well establish series which represents the pinicle of motorsport. There's too much for each side to loose. Watch this over the few weeks and it'll all blow over. Because I am an Aberdonian, the stig and a general all round demi-god, you'll see that I'm right. :)
