The question for Brawn GP is what engine they will be using next year?

If they want new teams in F1 then why don't they allow them to enter just one car for a certain period, or for so many races?

Remember Hesketh Racing?

I think I have posted this idea somewhere before but what about 6x (budgeted but to current rules including 18000 rpm engines) Single car teams next year? If any Single car team beats an established two car team by points/higher place finishes they have the option of running a two car team and the beaten two car team demoted to a single car team. Any loss of teams through attrition would allow single car teams the option of running two cars or a new team running a customer car supplied by any of the new single car teams for its first year with the intention of designing its own car for year two...

Why should Williams and FS ask for the privilage to be readmitted to FOTA. they hold the upper hand, If FOTA want's to ban KERS and refulling next year they need agreement from all teams entered into the 2010 championship, so its FOTA that should do the courting. this is just anoter example of the arrogance of FOTA thinking they can now decide rules etc, there are now 13 teams not just the 8 in FOTA

"Stefano Domenicali says F1 must welcome new teams into the sport but only those who intend staying for the long-haul. "
Well the chance of 3 new teams next year seem to be as far off as ever if they now have to compete with teams spending £200M and they have only budgets of £40m, and 4 year old cosworth engines, Well atleast Force India and Toro Rosso wont be last any more

i see that branson is dumping brawn next year and is going with manor, who may be rebranded as virgin. good of him to bail out of a team that at least gave him a bit of exposure, to go with a cheapie team that will be running at the back.

Sour Grapes. On the same day Virgin is reportedly jumping to Manor, Fry opens his big mouth. Nothing like trying to destabilize the team that is poaching your sponsorship as a warm welcome to F1.

Who are Manor team? Prodrive steps down again, it's been normal nowadays(good advertisement). Can Cosworth make a reliable engines with 20000rpm? Good work, if the fuel spent is reasonable and is a V8.
