Lewis was first last year in NOT the best car - look at his teammate back in 7th last year. And look at this year, with both the Brawns 1 and 2 - doesn't that er, like tell you something that they have the fastest cars followed by the Red Bulls. Last year, I'd say the Ferraris were the best cars, closely followed by the McLaren. Apart from his drive to the limit, adventurous, stupendous, daring style of driving, Lewis is also the nicest, most caring about his fans driver. That is why he has and always will have more fans than Button. True racing fans can see brilliance and ignore the media campaign against him and pro-bulbous Button.

Lewis was outstanding last year but not this. This is not me knocking Lewis but for me he is now starting to handle his reduced circumstances more professionaly than at the start of the season. Button is the star for me so far this year, he has out driven his team mate and made the most out of every race, even Silverstone. It would be great to see both British drivers go head to head in equal machinery but thats not going to be this year. Rosberg had done well again he needs to get a top car next year i think a space at Mclaren will be available

How can people vote for Hamilton? He's been awful this year.

Terrible bias voting.

wots that all about Lewis on top, i bet even he wouldnt want/expect that, we know the car is below par, but his driving hasnt hit the spot yet, plus he hasnt exactly been a great team player, constantly having ago at the car and team, in most jobs that would be as good as writing out your own p45

I think Michael has done well this year, dont you?
Danica Patrick will win next year and then join Ferrari . . . Maybe, but I think you should ask Max!

Moto gp is good but with ME as president of FIA, I would make 3 overtakes compulsory, or get 5 place penalty (this includes the dude at the front!)

The comments on this site remind me of the BNP supporters. They may not be in the majority, but they sure as hell know how to shout the loudest and are the most ignorant. Lewis is by far the biggest star in F1 today - his driving has been superlative this year in the most appalling car - one that is even slower than the Force Indias around fast corners. I also wonder who the Hell on this comment page is watching F1. He has triple the points that the useless, smug, insufferable Button had last year in what IMO is a worse car. You never saw the Honda jumping about so much last year because Button the loser just didn't make an effort like Lewis is this year. He is out-driving the car.

Talk to anyone who was at Silverstone. Lewis' performance was astounding. Who cares if he was at the back? Look at the doughnuts! There was a sea of silver and red cheering him on. No wonder the dreadful, self-important Button looked so morose. He thought tripping into a space rocket would make people forget he was rubbish and forget how great Lewis is!

Your comment on the fact the polls are rubbish WAS published and not deleted, so what are you moaning about? Because Lewis is (currently) winning?
