Lewis was first last year in NOT the best car - look at his teammate back in 7th last year. And look at this year, with both the Brawns 1 and 2 - doesn't that er, like tell you something that they have the fastest cars followed by the Red Bulls. Last year, I'd say the Ferraris were the best cars, closely followed by the McLaren. Apart from his drive to the limit, adventurous, stupendous, daring style of driving, Lewis is also the nicest, most caring about his fans driver. That is why he has and always will have more fans than Button. True racing fans can see brilliance and ignore the media campaign against him and pro-bulbous Button.

The reason Hamilton's car is all over the place is because McLaren have no Aero grip in hi-speed corners.
Button on the other hand, had more aero(2008 rules), hence less wayward!(If you were a real fan you would know this)
And if you think Lewis can hold a slide, I saw Kovalainen hang the ass of his Mclaren 6 times through Maggotts and Becketts at Silverstone 2weeks ago.
I didnt rate the fellow before this "display", But for him to keep going 100% commited was a sight to behold. Even spectators commented at his 160mph "slides" where as the majority of the fans there seemed to not give 2 monkeys to lewis.
:-o

The real 'star' for me is none other than Ross Brawn (Brawn GP). J Button wouldnt pull the socks off a tired footballer without the Brawn GP car. Brawn is the man with the brains. Full stop. :)

Has to be Vettel for me, he got good results when the Brawn was obviously the better car in race trim.

Couldn't vote for Button because the car is (maybe was, we'll see this weekend) so superior to anything else I think any of the top drivers in that car could equal his results.

Hamilton's made mistakes and the car is absolute rubbish... enough said!

Does this mean Schumi wasnt that good?
Of course we all know he wasnt that good!

For my money and on a dry track, I reckon Mika Hakkinen would teach schumi a thing or two!

Hakkinen:"Maksimum Atak" lololololol

fluffy you talk so much sense. Some of the posts make me wonder what time are we living in. A good indicator of how well a driver is doing take a look at his team mate. I cant understand how people can say lewis was in the best car last year. if Lewis was in a ferrari last year he would of won the title with races to spare. If he was not told to lie he would of picked up 8 points from that race, and would b in 6th place in the standings on 17 points ahead of Massa, kimi, fernando and over 4 times what Heikki has. When heikki was in the 2nd best car he came 6th last year. People can like or dislike whoever they wish but to say lewis is not a good driver you would have to question ther reasons

@ Black mans wheels

So it has nothing to do with Lewis hamiltons preferential treatment then?

year 1 alonso was the victim(although he is a ****** for the cheating thing)
year 2 he manages to oust even Ron Dennis!

tut tut and all that.

He is a good driver(hamilton)but i think Kovalainen isnt being allowed to show what he can do, and its a fact that hamiltn gets the best of what mclaren has!
