Lewis was first last year in NOT the best car - look at his teammate back in 7th last year. And look at this year, with both the Brawns 1 and 2 - doesn't that er, like tell you something that they have the fastest cars followed by the Red Bulls. Last year, I'd say the Ferraris were the best cars, closely followed by the McLaren. Apart from his drive to the limit, adventurous, stupendous, daring style of driving, Lewis is also the nicest, most caring about his fans driver. That is why he has and always will have more fans than Button. True racing fans can see brilliance and ignore the media campaign against him and pro-bulbous Button.

Are some of you guys totally wacked? Hammy cannot handle a poor performing car and the Big Guy Above could care less about F1. Perhaps a good learning season for Hammy but that is it.
Adios and happy 4th weekend with fireworks (displaying OUR defeat of the British Army for the Second time). Was not that hard to do as a matter of history. Sorry and resentful for the truth can get you too wound up at times. May your Island survive the comming water rise as the ice cap melts.

Sasha, hard cheese!

Johnson, I am a read fan and was aware of the lack of down force in Lewis' car. Poor you, grasping around for reasons to discredit my post. Not everyone hates Lewis you know. I know that is hard to come to terms with, but it's a fact. Poll after poll confirms him as the most popular driver. He has more FaceBook fans than any other driver in F1 combined. These are all facts dearie. Suck it up!

As for Silverstone fans not giving a monkeys about Lewis and cheering on Heikki, ha ha ha ha ha ha. That confirms you are living in a dream world. BTW poll so far, Lewis 42%, Button 10% (ha ha) others 0.18% (I presume the prodigious Heikki is amongst those votes).

Johnson, are you member no. 3 of the Heikki Kovalainen fan club. Or just a member?

spm, “not fast when he doesnt have the best equipment”. Oooh, this site has me in stitches sometimes. Do some of the posters on here actually have a brain? Casting my mind back to 2008, I remember Monaco, Silverstone, China, Hockenheim. I remember him being stripped of his just win in Spa gifting Massa more points than he deserved. I remember the ridiculous penalty given in Japan. Hamilton haters have very selective memories.

darren, why is it everything Hamilton does is dragged up as if he was the only one to make mistakes (actually, I wouldn't even call it a mistake, more pushing too hard in a crap car). What about Vettel in Australia?

BTW Johnson, I meant REAL fan. Man, I hate making typos!

Racy -- There is no need for that kind of speak at all. It's attitudes like that which give people reason to hate us (meaning the U.S.) more. Isolationist, elitist rhetoric gets people nowhere. Except mebbe dead. Please I beg all of you fellow F1 fans, can we cool our tongues and appreciate what could be the last year of our beloved motorsport as we know it? Actually pending on what happens that may not be a bad thing... :p

In my opinion, (which is what this is all about) I'd have to say Massa for the sole purpose of being the foremost driver of the traditional powerhouse teams. Someone before me said the same thing.

I agree with Fluffy's comments in this subject. :)

So all you jealous Hamilton haters and BNP ( Buttplug Nutcase Party?) supporters can disagree to your hearts content. :)

@ Fluffy

You cant read to save your life.
I said people were impressed by kovalainens commitment through maggotts and becketts. i didnt say he had a million fanboys giving it the large one!
For the record, Button much more SUPPORT than hamilton. stick that in your pipe and SHMOKE IT!

I would even go so far as to say i enjoy watching Hamilton, But he courts controversy and apportions blame when all he had to do is take criticism like a man.

Berating his Mclaren team, not publicly supporting Dennis DURING the Lie-gate scandal, constantly sticking the boot into his engineers during interviews.

Compare this with Schumi, Hakkinen and even Alonso
....Cont'd
