Alonso While being less than complimentry, to his renault team, never ever called his engineers into question. And does he ever drive the wheels off that little car!

Hakkinen, when the merc engines were as brittle as lead!
Did he come out and lambast them? o contraire, he actually praised mercedes for giving him 2 world titles.

between schumi and hakkinen and to a lesser extent alonso, they have shown to have mettle when the going gets tough. Hamilton has shown his weakness this is indisputable

So mclaren dont have a no1 driver hey?
since January 2008 Lewis hamiltons Mclaren has recieved EVERY UPDATE to the car first.

At the beginning of 2004 Hamilton and McLaren had an argument which resulted in McLaren temporarily dropping him.

Later, on 2 March 2007 Williams would announce that they had come close to signing the young individual but were refused the opportunity due to BMW, their engine supplier at the time, refusing to fund Hamilton's career,

Hamilton eventually re-signed with McLaren, and made his debut with Manor in the 2004 Formula Three Euroseries.

It seems his petulance goes back further than i anticipated!

Johnson what the F are you on read my post. i dont belive he was no.1 when alonso was there. But he is no.1 now. It makes sense when a driver is clearly better then his team mate. so you need to take your rose tinted specs of. Like most lewis haters only seeing what the want to. crazy

JOHNSO what is lewis's weekness. he beat alonso in his first year fact. He made him spit his dummie out. Alonso got the mettle when the going gets hard. blame everything but the car because lewis is driving the same car. Blackmail your boss to get your own way costing the team 50 big ones such a classy guy. If it was not for lewis alonso would have 4 titles in a row and he knows and so dose his fans. lewis left mclaren for a while because he felt they were holding up his progess. if you look at his age he should of been in f1 2 years before. These are the facts:
Hamilton disobeyed team instructions insisting he let Alonso pass at the start of the final qualifying session.

Alonso was then accused by race stewards of deliberately impeding Hamilton in the pit lane, denying him a final crack at a hot lap, and was demoted from pole to sixth on the grid.

Hamilton did NOT let Alonso past as he knew that Alonso was quicker!FACT
so started the chain of events.

As Alonso got used to the mclaren team he was starting to put manners on hamilton.FACT

So instead of getting mad Alonso got even.
And when he found out that the Mclaren team backed Hamilton, he went Beserk, As you do! cont'd
