Lewis was first last year in NOT the best car - look at his teammate back in 7th last year. And look at this year, with both the Brawns 1 and 2 - doesn't that er, like tell you something that they have the fastest cars followed by the Red Bulls. Last year, I'd say the Ferraris were the best cars, closely followed by the McLaren. Apart from his drive to the limit, adventurous, stupendous, daring style of driving, Lewis is also the nicest, most caring about his fans driver. That is why he has and always will have more fans than Button. True racing fans can see brilliance and ignore the media campaign against him and pro-bulbous Button.

For the 2007 wdc McLaren basically backed Hamilton to win the title from the halfway point in the season.
The standings at the end of the year told us that they got it wrong.
2008 they removed the biggest stumbling block to the plan, and took the title with a little help from Ferrari inneptness and more ridiculous mistakes than any champion should be making. This year . . . The 'starting down the back with the monkey's' comment has comeback to well and truly bite him on the a55.
The 'racism' in Barcelona is always best dealt with by ignoring it because that is exactly how much attention the sport should give to ignorence.
And Hammi is understanding now, just as Jenson Button is that the real star of the show is once more, the car!

Speaking of the 07 Mclaren thing, it seemed really funny to me that after Alonso Destroyed Lewis (and everyone else) at Monza that year, he suddenly became the slowest of the top four and Lewis the quickest, that doesnt ''just'' happen. something certainly changed within the team, Lewis had better Strategies, given later final runs in Q3, even Ron Said they, the team and Lewis, were racing Fernando so you have to admit, something fishy was goin on. and by the way Lewis didnt beat him in 07, they were tied on points, only a count back put him second, not by scoring more points

If alonso was so good why did lewis have to let him passed. Lewis was just saying catch me if you can, and he could not. Why would he then stop him from having a fair crack at pole. Alonso really got the mettle when the pressure is on. Everyone goes on about lewis not winning the title in his first year. But alonso was the two time champ and finished 3rd. If he would of kept his cool he would on been 3 times world champ. instead lewis showed him to be a chump.

Absolutley 229

Mclaren lost the real champion in my opinion.
Nothing against hamilton because he is blisteringly quick, But the alonso mystery at Mclaren Showed how engineeers and team owners can influence speed.

Mclaren instructed Lewis to let Fernando passed in Hungary which he did only after having a huge argument over the radio with the team. costing himself and Fernando time in the process, so i dont understand all this Anti sportsmenship crap towards alonso, they are BOTH guilty of it

Alonso was left stunned by Hamilton's outburst at Dennis, adding: 'I suppose the team will look at it.

'It is the first time Hamilton, or any driver, speaks like that to his boss. I have never seen it.

Tempestuous and having everything his way.
Look at the trail of devastation
Alonso........gone
Dave ryan..........Gone
Ron dennis........gone

All in no small part to hamilton. it is undeniable
Has any other driver wreaked as much havoc?

Alonso is no saint, But Hamilton fans should realise their boy-wonder is in fact to blame for the whole debacle. He started the mess....Alonso played the game.
