I had really no opinion on BE. Now I regard him as smart and brave person. Of course democracy is no good. For instance, you are out for hiring a nanny, you'll look at qualification, right? Everybody is allowed to vote - take part in governing a country. Even those who have no idea what they are doing, those unable to manage even their own life. They are still considered qualified. Result: Politicians have to please stupid mob instead of developing the country. Because decisions that lead to progress are often unpopular. The bottom line: Democracy will stop the progress. Example? Look at economical history of Chile. Do your homework, learn what Pinochet really did for his country.

Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.

This will sound like out of topic,but as I have always said,the main problem of FI was/is the money FOM/CVC is sucking out of the sports and that concerns BE which was always making full use of MM/FIA to divide and manage the teams to safeguard FOM/CVC, BE will keep defending MM for ever like he is doing with his extreme comments because loosing MM is like loosing his right arm.

Seeing as racist spectators in Spain resulted in threats of cancellation of that GP, open support of Hitler, Saddam Hussein and the Taleban should result in sanctions against BE and a fine for bringing F1 into disrepute. Democracy isn't without problems, not least because it gives people like S(&M) Alec the vote, but as Churchill said, the alternatives are much worse.
