I'm pretty sure the majority of his comments are 'foolish'.

Bernie Ecclestone - the master of the understatement.

Still confused about a Jewish person admiring/liking Hitler...

Perhaps we'll never know what goes on in this Harry Potter look-a-like's head.

Overdoing the "I'm almost Jewish" bit isn't he? Maybe he should be wearing a Yarmulke in future :)
Even in his apology he still indicates his admiration for dictatorial types.

I admire Bernie (And i dont like the guy either!) for having the courage to speak his mind, its a pity all the simple people have to round up together and conform.

Are we not allowed to speak our mind in a democracy?
And are his comments actually wrong?
Just because someone is bad doesn't mean they don't 'get things done'

JMD - I posted a similar comment to you in another thread about this and got called everyting from a racist to a cross dressing scotsman (kilts). I wouldn't bother trying to post anything too sensible. A lot of posters tend to have extremely blinkered and jaded views.

andrewm - that was a very serious insult to Harry Potter who, by comparison, has a well-organized mind and brown hair. Bernie looks more like a worn out douche-bag to me.

btw I never called you a racist. :D

For how many years have the Jewish race been persona non grata wherever they have gone ? Hundreds ? Thousands ? Shouldn't that tell them something ? Maybe the're doing something wrong ? It puzzles me.

Andrewn and JMD - quick lesson for the slow guys in the class:

When you are in a position of power and responsibility it is best to not publicly admire Hitler.

Ask anyone who is a public official at any level - they avoid saying certain things that may be true, sometimes for good reason.

Free speech also means that everyone has the right to criticize how others use and abuse their free speech rights.

Please explain how your concept of free speech works. Does it apply only to Bernie?
