So CVC are happy to have Bernie as their figurehead? It says a lot about them as a group doesn't it? Money first, morals and ethics a distant second.

GOOD NEWS:

Even more important is that Mosley has confirmed that he is stepping down and won't stand for re-election.

No doubt Autogyro will start with his usual pro Mosley bile

99.9% of business, and governments for that matter, operates on the money first, morals second model. why should CVC be any different.
morals don't pay dividends to shareholders!

there's not a snowball in hells chance they will get rid of bernie, love him or hate him he does his job extremely well - earning money for CVC.

sad but true.

Merde! Screw CVC. FOTA's dealing with them says a lot about FOTA's consideration of F1 fans' desires. Screw FOTA for dealing with CVC.

wtf - Let's just go racing.

Robsurrey - there are a lot of posters on crash with hippy mindsets.

Let's face it Wee Willie Ecclestone is out of his depth, all 2' 3"inches of it, the quicker he has a visit from a taxidermist and placed in a museum (or a house of horrors) the better.

Well it was all a strom in a teacup anyway, wasn't it?

He never actually praised what Hitler and Saddam did to their people, or any of their actions. He just praised their ability to get things done.

A statements that, although very risky, is probably fair. I mean, he's right- Hitler and Saddam did have an amazing ability to get things done. It's just that what they did was appalling.

So the man kind of has a point- if we had someone with their ability to make things happen (plus, crucially, some sane ideas!) then maybe we wouldn't be in such a state.

Politics in all areas, including F1, is too full of faffing and legislation, and it wraps itself up in its own red tape. Rubbish.
