Why not stick a big wing on an M3 and send that round, would be a better idea and quicker.....why continue to develop a car that's flawed.....they need to poach better staff.

Pointless and idiotic.

No refueling next year means a bigger gas tank, different dimensions and a higher minimum weight. Any work they do this year won't directly apply to next year.

And methinks BMW need to start from scratch anyway.

It will take a really big fool to call what a team of the caliber of BMW was/is or will be doing as pointless and idiotic, yes the 2010 cars will be of defferent dimensions and designed/build around the new heavyier fuel load/tank,regardless of what they say to the press they are not going to tell what they are really doing,an example is FERRARI using friday testing in Germany to test a new nosecone for their 2010 car,as fridays are the teams only chance to track test this kind of stuff.

@what sunny said, I think no-engineers sometimes (often) underestimate their thought process and how they can make correct assumptions on something based on what's happening to something else. I work in an engineering company and the leaps in logic they sometimes make to arrive at a solution just blow my mind
