I think it's great. It'll be so tough getting in (as surely everyone in the FIA who currently benefits would want JT on the throne), but if he somehow manages it, we'd have a democracy.

Saying that, you need an element of dictating to the teams. They will never agree with each other for very long, so a bit of both will probably be the best.

But will he really bring an end to the Max's empire?
Mosleys empire has been established for so long, it will be very difficult to change it. I reckon he will eventually just be another Max, drunk on power and authority. He'll start out with noble intentions and then in due course will start dictating to the teams. Just my humble musings. On the plus side, he's not Max Mosley so not all bad then.

Vatanen does not believe in global warming caused by human actions.
Like the motor and oil industries that put him up to this, he will not face up to the electric vehicle revolution happening right under their noses.
His principles would destroy F1 inside 12 Months.

I wouldn't say that he would destroy F1 but there is no denying the damage to the environment done by cars. The electric "revolution" is nothing more than a pipe dream. Hydrogen fuel cells are the future. Mind you I'm ne really an environmentalist and drive with a heavy right foot so couldn't really give a monkeys about his views on the environment.

I watched the video of this guy driving the Pikes Peak Hillclimb course. This is one scary drive at speed. Most of the run-off areas are open air followed by a long drop. With this level of personal courage, I think he could deal with the perv's cronies at the FIA if he chose to.

So if I had a vote, would it be Vatanen or M. Le Toot? Gee, what a tough choice. :D

Autogyro - not meaning to be funny or anything, but do you have a petrol, diesel, LPG or electric car?

Electric cars are still harmful to the environment through their manufacture and through creating electricity to fun them. The substances within the batteries can be extremely harmful and a battery does not have an infinite lifespan. Once it is no longer able to hold a charge it will be put in a bin and then landfill. At least with CO2 emmissions, cars can be deigned to emit less and more trees can be planted to oxygenate the air.
