Just like to point out Hamilton did not brake too late, he was in fact hit up the rear by Webber at the first corner which doesn't tend to help slowing down much... So let's see what he does this time...

I reckon Hamilton will lead the race into the first corner again this week. Alonso is getting desperate, running on fumes to qualify up front. If he's so dissatisfied with F1 why doesn't he quit? There are plenty of young guns that would kill for his seat and they wouldn't be whinging every 5 minutes about everything. Give it up Alonso, we're tired of listening to you crying.

Big Zipper - i totally agree with you hopefully lewis will get around the first cornor without someone shunting him up the rear again and alonso is going to be a rolling road block until after the first stops if you are unlucky enough to get stuck behind him.

What a load of crap! The best driver on the grid my ass! Alonso selling his soul to get pole position. A position I might add he doesn't deserve. Vettel should be on pole!!

:p

We are all entitled to an opinion, mine is if you are fastest in Q3 then you deserve to be on pole regardless of your fuel load, with only 12 laps of fuel Alonso will be stuck in traffic after his first stop so he won't figure later in the race unless something unusual happens. Pound for pound Alonso is regarded as the best driver on the grid by those on the grid. Those teams still using KERS are the best funded teams having huge resources that few others can compete with, hence they developed the best devices, their only chance of getting in the lead is at the start, hopefully they will be back down the field after the 1st pit stops, the Red Bulls 3 or 4 laps further on fuel should win.
