MS will be on the pace soon enough without the extra test day.
Ferrari are just trying to cheat again by getting extra stuff tested on the car before before Valencia.
now if Ferrari would allow an engineer from every team to watch over the test and they have to use the car to the same spec as say the British gp car then thats another story.
It would be nice if Ferrari would just grow up.

I find it hard to understand why so many people support giving a 7 time WC dispensation. Judging by the reaction to comments made in the wake of Williams and Red Bulls decision to block the test, about 50% of people think he should be allowed. It's strange to me, but then I can put aside the hype of schumi returning and look at it impartially. And Williams did exactly what they should have. James Allen recently wrote a feature article about it over at ITV, and summed it up perfectly. Ferrari potentially have more to gain than just familiarizing their stand in.

And the outburst from ferrari left me gobsmacked. Totally immature. But then ferrari have a habit of shooting from the hip.

A few days ago, I see a comment of "how about all team are given a practice day in this summer break?". I think it is the best solution. It is breaking the rule indeed but it will given all team the same opportunity to test their car. Ferrari will put Schummy to test the F60.

But if I am a F1 team owner, I will not into this solution also. Because, Schummy - my favorite driver since his entrance to F1 in early 90s - is far too genius. He will not only test F60, he will give input in the setup and calibrate new aero component. In this case all other team might be so worried.

It's very simple Ferrari, play by the same rules as everbody else or p**s off. Stop your whingeing! If he's good enough to do it within the same rules that aplly for everbody for once, I may take my hat off to him. I wonder if Raikki is allowed to race him?

UNBELIEVEABLE!..... The fact that each and every one of you appear to be so worried speaks volumes!. Not worried..... I'm so sure that you really all are....

Schumacher is a legend. End of, The fact that no one in this thread seems to be too happy about it, or Ferrari, and their dealings, shows a completely childish attitude...

Admit it, your all crapping yourselves.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Oh, finally, Schumacher is odd's on favourite to win it!.... and he hasn't even driven the 09 spec car yet.... It muct be very hard for those that are not fans.... for me..... IT HEAVEN!.....

Agreed Fred. There is no way in hell the teams could ever manage themselves. They may have been united against the FIA, but the minute the new series started they would have been arguing like hell, eventually tearing themselves apart.

Anyway, this is a non issue. Rules state no testing of any kind in season. That's it, end of discussion.

Alguesari (sp?), a total rookie, didn't get any, why should a hugely experienced 7 times WDC?

Ferrari slams Williams test block! Ha Ha Ferrari whinges like a spoilt child because other teams respect rules that have all been agreed on at the start of the year! As far as Red Bull goes I like it when people say they should return the favour re: testing... "Oh if we let you cheat you can too, how's that?" As someone else pointed out Newbie in Toro Rosso lapped within a secnd of the pace with no testing in a poor car relatively, 7 time world champ in Ferrari? I think he'll manage don't you?
