Bernie stating the obvious yet again.

Schumacher was a factor in making F1 a major sport in Germany and he was at the pointy end of teh grid all through his F1 career (lowest championship position was 5th in 1999).

Just look at how many folk post on any of the Schumacher related reports on here. Have to admit that Bernie has a point and lets face it, with the exception of 2 or 3, all the current drivers are dull as ditch water media darlings. No character at all.

If he could regularly in point with mediocre Ferrari F60, then he is a 7 times world champion. If he could fight for podium, indeed, he is a super 7 times world champion. If he could win at least 1 race during 2009, what else I could say?

One thing to be sure, he will make the young guns busy to watch out into their car mirror for Scarlet Machine attack driven by Schummy.

"When he left, he left at the top, and that's how he's coming back."

Call me cynical, but I think that the Poison dwarf is only happy to see MS back because lots of people will be watching the race on TV.

Well, he was runner-up in 2006. He was winning races and had his car not broken down in Japan the title decider in Brazil would have been quite different. I'd say he went out closer to the top than 99% of drivers. Prost retired as champion in 93, but I don't think many others have done that (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong there).

this is bernies wet dream come true. Anything to fill the stands once more. The fans are sick of the BS that has been going on between the FIA FOTA and whoever else has thrown there 10 cents in.
As much as i would love to see schumi at the front i fear that due the performance of the F60 he may be somewhere around the middle of the pack. I also hope that Hamilton fans dont go apeshite when the mclaren out performs the ferrari for the next 2 or 3 races
