F1 » Schumacher abandons F1 comeback

GUTTED! :(
I feel very sorry for Schumacher too though, he's utterly disappointed and I don't blame him, he has put everything into this comeback and now to be told he can't race.
Also he must know how upset all his fans, f1 fans in general will be and that's a lot of pressure.
But if he can't race, he can't race, nobody's fault, just how things work sometimes.

I suppose that it all boils down to who's going to get that Ferrari drive?

I am absolutly gutted. I feel so down now. I was so looking forward to seeing him in the red car again. I understand his reasons, but I was counting the days to see him perform again. I am sure he must be gutted to. This is so disappointing for all Schumacher fans & I am one of the biggest. Now wait for all the snipping to start on here about his reasons.

At least the others are spared the embarrassment of being beaten up by a 40 year old.

Does anyone think this was all just a plan to have Schumacher test the '09 car and give feedback? He was the best driver in terms of developing earlier cars and turning Ferrari into winners previously, it may have all been a scam to try and receive an extra test session to develop the current car...

Just read on autosport that Badoer will replace Massa. About time too.
