Luca is probably a better choice than Marc Gene, regardless of what some might say. And I'm sure Ferrari know what they're doing.

Here's hoping Schumacher can slip in a race before the end of the season.

With 10 years no F1 racing he participate and his viewing of this "dream" opportunity, I believe Badoer will race ready 200% - racing with heart -.

I believe also, although Schummy will not in racing, he will be in the pit line to support the team. Ferrari might not win 2009 championship, but I have no doubt that Felipe accident makes this team more solid than ever.

Next year, I hope they will have decent car, Scummy full support as test driver, total adviser and strategic planner with fully fit Felipe ready to reclaim world championship.

Why not get Juan Pablo Montoya to drive the Ferrari - he'd be faster than Schumacher. A for Badoer, Ferrari are not that desperate.

Ferrari should be putting a driver in the seat with lots of 'RACE' experience, with 'PROVEN QUALITY', someone that would get the 'VERY BEST OUT OF THE CAR' in massas absence, this driver should have had 'RACE WINS IN F1' he should also be 'RACE FIT' so he isnt a possible hazzard to the experianced drivers around him. This driver all along should have been....... DAVID COULTHARD as he has all of the required above (he only retired last year for frucks sake)!. Am i the only sane person on the planet? ferrari what are you playing at????? badoer im sure will finish no higher than 12th unless very lucky!

He will know the 2009 fairly well so he should be in with a good chance of doing well.

DC is still a consultant to Red Bull though, even if Ferrari offered him the seat, do you actually think Red Bull would give him permission to go and race for one of their biggest rivals?

And as for Badoer, he IS a decent driver, he won the F3000 title at his first attempt, he was one of many drivers in F1 that never got a car good enough to show what he could do though. Ok he is going to be rusty having not raced in 10 years, but not many people are expecting much from him, so he's not really under any pressure. He probably wont be giving Raikkonen any trouble, but im sure he's capable of at least scoring some points! Anyway, best of luck Luca, I'll be cheering for you!!
