Good, Leave Donny as it is and let it be just for bikes. Silverstone should have the Formula 1, As it suits it better.

I hear a note of desperation in Donington's spokesperson.

Please, someone put Donington out of its misery. This project is dead, but it just won't lie down.

Bernie should now make a decision that the GP is at Silverstone in 2010 and announce a date or at least say what the deadline for making that decision is. Until he does this it will be impossible to sort out domestic race dates eg BTCC, British Superbikes and (eventually) club racing.

Why do we have to wait for Gillett to go bust before the 2010 calender is forged. Please, for christ's sakes somebody put a stop to this and give the program planners something concrete to build on. The place just isn't suitable !!.

the old addage of no news is good news, ever thought that silence is due to the fact that even if a full statement of plans and funding were made public, there are still peaple ( most on here ) that would cast a negative shadow over it ?

if i were in gillets shoes i would stick a big middle finger up to everyone and just get on with proving everyone wrong.

donington has my full support in all ventures, if it fails then so be it, but atleast he has the balls to try and make a world class circuit and not let a historic circuit turn into a supermarket !

you may not like what you hear, but then again you dont like even good news so why bother getting my point across !!!

Mr Gillett has had plenty of opportunity to prove his critics wrong. The tragedy in this is that the project was ill conceived, ill funded, badly managed and unnecessary.

It has nothing to do with pessimism, simply a statement of the obvious.

The only time this project will be completed is in Mr Gilletts dreams. (I suspect he is not sleeping soundly enough to dream anyway!)

At this rate, Silverstone wont be able to host the 2010 F1 race, as they will not have enough time to get ready. Maybe this is what Bernie wants, as we know he does not really want an English GP, as he does not get enough money!!. It will be a big shame, if there is no British GP on the calender!!!! :?

Sorry to disappoint you, I don't want to be president. We don't have them in England. Perhaps I could be queen instead? My wife might be a little surprised.
