Although it's good that Renault have had their ban lifted, I think that the fine was a fair one, but will they have a 10 place Grid ban as well. I thought that any team that have been found guilty of any infringement, were also handed a Grid Penalty as well!.

After see Alonso fight with 2 wins in medio car last year and his spirit to get the most possible with Renault this year, I see him more and more as true champion.

I hope next year R30 will good enough to unlock Alonso potential as two times world champion.

If Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, Brawn, Red Bull, and Williams is in the same level, then we will know who is the best driver in the world. Is it Massa/Kimi, Alonso, Lewis, Button, Vettel/Webber, or Nico.

I believe Nico is also world champion material, He just need good car as Williams is deeply underperform after BMW ties end. Let see if BMW willing to supply machinery again to Williams.

Does anyone agree that F1 has become a completely political and manipulated sport?

I love FA, and I am happy to see him racing this weekend at Valencia - but I completely disagree with the way F1 is policed at the moment. Heavy handed stewards decisions, inconsistant decisions, appeals and overturns.
It seems to me now that the sport is run for effect, for reaction and for press coverage.

Please just put on a race series, where drivers entertain us, and we love to watch - without all the rubbish and politics in between.

Rockii to achieve good unpredictable F1 racing firstly telemetry during racing should be banned so that the driver does on board car adjustments without aid.

Secondly ban radio contact between pit and driver (only one pit crew contact seated in race control tower for safety reasons only) further restriction on driver aid.

@ Rockii , Totally agree, Ecclestone and Mosley are better known than some of the drivers, and that's not right. Last year's championship appeared to be set up to go to the wire. I'm still not sure if Renault should be allowed to race or not. Dodgy decisions and dodgy politics are dragging F1 through the mud. I still watch it but not with te same enthusiasm I used to have.

I cant believe this but iam going to agree with you twice Fred!

Brawn will be back as they reverse their silly add ons that made them slower! Race victory will be a close call but they will be far more competitive.

As for the telemetery aids i think seeing a driver adjust computer controls within the cockpit is 100% relevant in this day and age. Think satnav traction control esp and the like for your everyday driver. Getting a boffin to do it is no fun! watching alonso or hamilton doing it while sweeping through Eau Rouge or the 130R is indeed a better prospect. They do adjust brake balance and fuel mixture but they can do a helluva lot more! Lets see these lads work for a change! :D

Fred and Johnson- I disagree, yea, Brawn are going to get their car back to how it was when it was dominant, but while they are reverse engineering other teams are taking steps forward. McLaren for one have a fairly significant upgrade I believe.
They may move up again but I doubt they'll be competing for the race win now that McLaren and Ferrari are back and Red Bull is still highly competitive.
But who knows, this is the mad world of F1 after all! :D

Hannah the Brawns were indeed light years ahead of everyone in turkey to the tune of a bout 0.4 to 0.7 seconds a lap at race pace. So much so that Button enthused his car was a "monster". That was 2 months ago.
So yes, the teams have caught up somewhat i concur.

BUT, for red bull to be 0.8 seconds a lap quicker means that red bull have found 1.5 seconds on brawn. That is a miracle. Let alone Mclaren who were 1.5 seconds off the pace who then find themselves 0.5 seconds quicker!

What you can Deduce is Brawn made a mistake...he's already admitted it. The bits they put on make the car too tyre sensitive. By removing them they will be way more competitive, probably on par with the R-bulls :p

It'll be a hot track therefore Brawn and Red Bull will dominate and Ferrari / McLaren will pick-up the scraps.
