Yeah, but Alonso was almost 8 tenth faster than the second placed driver. So, compared to the rest of the field Grosjean fared pretty for a first outing without any solid testing.

He's main objective would be to finish this tricky race on Sunday, it would be incredible if he's in the top 10.

What does it say about the mentality of a driver or his fans when you see this halfwitted posturing ?

He could run maybe, between 6th & 8th, but wants to run at the front at the start, but will then sacrifice all that to finish 12th and look like a total idiot. Again. Why ?

Haven't people been saying for a long time now that F1 gives nothing back to the fans? No entertainment, nothing to cheer?

Well if Alonso wanted to set a low fuel run to achieve a quick time for the Spanish fans to cheer, then where's the harm in that? Sure it doesn't mean much to be quick on Friday and mid-grid on Saturday, but even so..
