I'd like to see the Argentine GP return. Hockenheim is not the same since it was revamped and it sadly became "just another circuit". After the dismal Valencia GP I think it is about time that there were some real hairy ar*ed, challenging circuits rather than the sterile rubbish that seems to be the in thing at the moment.

Hockenheim could be dropped from the Formula 1 calendar next year, but Argentina may be returning from 2011.

Hockenheim's not the great circuit it used to be, because of F1 I suspect, but the newer layout isn't too bad. F1 should keep it and ditch Valencia, one Monaco is enough.

one monaco circuit is definately enough - valencia, singapore and now abu dhabi - F1 is not a street circuit sport. but money now talks, doesn't it?

Bernies fault this. He's just going to all the tracks that have money, but no soul, or spectators.
Lets bring back all the old, decent tracks, and this would then make F1 cheaper again, as Bernie cant screw more money, out of the teams!!!

First, they chopped the Hockenheim layout. Now, the race is getting chopped altogether. I really miss those blasts out into the forest. Sad!

I agree with Irl, those long curves/straights running through the trees were great, and from what I remember there was quite a lot of overtaking possible on that layout.

The chicanes did provide a lot of overtaking thanks to the heavy braking required. Something which a lot of the modern circuits are sadly lacking in.

I like the track in Argentina, be good to see it back in F1.
Hockenheim is not the same track since it has been revamped, And i do miss the old track as power/speed circuits seem few and far between nowa days.
It was actually good to see what speed these cars could do when they have trimmed to low down force tracks for max speed!.
Be nice if Hockenhiem went back to the previous lay out!

@ march 1951

If FOTA had started a new rival series, then most/all of the micky mouse tracks would not be on the calender.
Well for the series that FOTA had in mind anyway! :)
