Was this really impressive from Fisi? I mean, he had a car that was faster than Kimis, and yet because of the safety car he allowed Kimi to work his tyres and keep better heat than he did. I mean this is an error I wouldn't expect from an experience guy like Fisi, but maybe he was a bit shell shocked by being at the sharp end, and Kimi's superior race craft allowed him to win with a slower car. So big congrats to Kimi for a great victory, but of course big congrats to Fisi also, well deserved, but next time, bring out the wily old fox and win. Bring on Monza.

Thought i best watch the race before commenting on this. Nice race and deserved win by Kimi, but a win i feel is more down to KERS than anything else after the safety car. Fisi in second in a Force India, not much else i can say it's a cracking drive and seems to be a great car on the day from a team which is operating ao a fraction of the budget of the big teams. It's days like this that have made me start watching Formula 1 again. Bar the off track politics one of the best seasons for years. Just hope Jenson and Brawn get their act together for the remaining part of the season

Yes it was really impressive.
KERS, and KERS only kept Fisi from winning it.
That IMO is even more impressive than Vettel last year triumph.
Hope they keep good pace, perhaps not frontrunner, but regular points contender would be great to see.

I agree with you. I think well-deserved to Fisi, but Kimi got into his head. He couldn't do much about Kimi keeping his tyres warmed up and then Kimi craftily didn't use his KERS on the short run to the hairpin, but once he started up Eau Rouge, he got that last bit of warmth, hit the button and Whoosh!
I think Fisi was thinking of Suzuka 2005 - when Kimi came from 17th to win the race and passed Fisi for #1. Kimi tailed him for 2-3 laps and then came the inevitable pass on Fisi. Ron Dennis was reportedly 'in tears' and everyone was talking about how shattered Fisi was. Back then, Fisi was in an even superior car - the championship-winning Renault.
Cheers to the Kimster! :)

Trulli couldn't get past Badoer even with a slipstream because of KERS, so I don't see how Fisi could be expected to hold Kimi off when he had the advantage of KERS and a slipstream. Great drive by Fisi.
