Does Rossi really think he has better than a dogs chance in F1 because I do not agree him. As a biker he is superb and should stay with it. I wonder how he would feel continually finishing as an also ran and out of the points and limelight. :? :? :?

Attention seeker.

He knows that interest in Moto GP is falling like a stone but now he needs to attract attention in some other way.

Bit sad really given his past achievements!

I think you will find that Ferrari initiated the discussions, not Rossi. Ferrari must think he could do a good job otherwise why would they waste their breath?? Stupid sniping at Rossi just indicates the childishness of some of the remarks on this forum, no one can possibly tell whether he'd be any good or not until he has tried, so stop torturing your tiny minds!!

Rossi wouldn't be crawling round at the back, he wouldn't be winning races but he'd have speed don't worry about that. It's much easier to go from bikes to cars, rather than the other way round. Just ask shumacher..

When he tested a couple years back he was about 1s off the laptime of the regular Ferrari drivers. I don't know which track it was, but that is comparable with Badoer's pace more or less.

Impressive for someone who hasn't really raced formula cars before, but not nearly good enough to deserve a seat at Ferrari.

Like he said, if he's really thinking about doing this and Ferrari wants to give him a shot (on both counts I would say no, but IF), he would first need to do enough testing to figure out if he can be on the pace, otherwise it would ultimately just reflect badly on mostly Rossi himself but also on Ferrari when he turns out to be too slow.

Tyrone, Totally agree.

Fred 1 you are still an idiot! as for the rest of you who have made your simple minded comments you need to take a holiday. Rossi was approached by Ferrari and then was asked by the press about the connection, hence the quote. If you *****s think Rossi seeking attention then there is no hope for you.
